What did you do to your van today?

It was built by a firm on the isle of white Sam I ordered it last Monday they made it powder coated it and shipped iit in a week. They are made exactly for that van using existing holes then you drill out about eight once in place. Took 40 minutes to put it together and fit.

It is sometimes best to purchase tried and tested units, for you to measure cut dry assemble, dismantle get powder coated then reassemble. Without knowing the purchase cost it would have cost 2/3 times as much in your time.👍

Looks good, is this the start of the interior build?

Lee I’m enjoying doing this and planning it. Up till now I’ve done everything myself if I get stuck or maybe not confident enough to do something myself I’ll pay someone to do it but I think I’m on a roll. There's a great forum on FB for people converting crafter / MAN vans and there’s some clever people with some amount of knowledge. Then there’s the university of YouTube.

doing a bit of copycat lee had one of these tables on his burstner when he bought it has been really useful but the price was £400+ found one the other day on Amazon a nice price , it’s secured by a dozen self tappers and silkafix caused a bit of trepidation drilling into my van but on & secure 🤞i put the spirit level on it but decided to go with the vinyl lines it only sticks out as much as the cassette door IMG_2264.jpegIMG_2262.jpegIMG_1877.png

Yesterday was my annual balls ache day on my self built 'Millie' when I attack the MPK rooflights to clean them up for the year to come.

I have to totally remove each of the 3 separate rooflights and exceptionally carefully strip them totally apart so that I can gain access to the otherwise trapped crud between the inner and outer panels of the polycarbonate panels.
I then thoroughly polished the outer/top-side panel with T-cut to make the panel as clear as possible............. I also did exactly the same to the headlight lenses and Seitz windows using a rotary polisher.

Job done and now shining!
